Corrections Policy

Spotifero corrects significant errors in published content. This page explains when we issue a correction, how we mark it, and how to flag a problem to the editorial team.

When we correct

  • Factual errors (names, numbers, dates, attributions, quotes).
  • Misleading framing or context that changes a reader's understanding.
  • Broken links to primary sources, where the source itself has not changed.

How we mark corrections

When we materially change a story after publication, we add a dated correction note at the bottom of the article and update the modified timestamp. Trivial fixes (typos, formatting) are made silently.

Takedown requests

We do not remove published reporting at the request of subjects. We will correct demonstrable factual errors and consider redaction only in narrow cases (safety risk, court order, or removal of personal data published in error).

How to report an error

Email opravy@spotifero.com with the URL, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and a source. We aim to acknowledge within two working days and resolve within five.

Editorial responsibility

Final responsibility for corrections rests with the editor-in-chief. The general approach is documented in our editorial policy.
